The OBA annually presents more than 20 hours of original CLE content, and now OBA members will be able to have access to all of that CLE content at no additional charge. All In Person CLEs will be video recorded for On Demand access.

Some events will include a meal charge (like the Medical Legal Dinner and Law Day Lunch), but most live CLEs will not include any extra cost for members.

Written Instructions for Access:

1. Go to www.omahalibrary.org, select “Resource Center” tab at the top, then “Newspapers, Magazines & Journals” in the drop-down menu.
2. On “Newspapers, Magazines & Journals” page, scroll down and select the listing for Newspapers.com.
3. Enter your Omaha Public Library card barcode (found on the back side of your library card).
4. In Newspapers.com, select “Papers” at top of page. On following page in search bar at top of page, enter “Daily Record”.
5. Scroll down through results to find The Daily Record in Omaha Nebraska. Click on image newspaper, and now you are able to search exclusively through the Daily Record Archive.

Lawyer-to-Lawyer Mentoring Program in Omaha

The Omaha Bar Association is proud to provide a mentoring program for OBA attorney members. The Lawyer-to-Lawyer Mentoring Program links experienced attorneys with new lawyers who have recently been admitted to the practice of law. Mentoring is a one-on-one relationship designed to assist newer lawyers as they begin their legal careers, during the first years of practice. Mentors and new lawyers meet in person six times during the course of a year to discuss topics and engage in activities they select from a mentoring plan. By fostering positive mentoring relationships, Lawyer-to-Lawyer Mentoring seeks to elevate the competence, professionalism, and success of Omaha-area lawyers.
