OBA Young Lawyers Division Toy Drive 2024Supporting Foster Kids with CASA for Douglas CountyDATES: November, 2024 - Monday, December 2, 2024 DONATIONS FOR: Abused and neglected kids in the foster care system and helped by CASA for Douglas County (Info on CASA can be found HERE) WHAT DONATIONS ARE NEEDED: Toys, board games, and personal items for children of all ages (see suggested items HERE) HOW TO DONATE: (1) BUY ONLINE - by purchasing toys donated directly to the children via CASA's "Wish List" on Amazon.com - https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/2SW9OPZWJDBZO/ref=hz_ls_biz_ex (2) DONATE NEW OR CLEAN & LIGHTLY USED TOYS AT DOUGLAS COUNTY COURTHOUSE (1701 FARNAM ST) - via the donation boxes located in (a) the Douglas County District Court Administration Office on the 5th Floor, and (b) the Douglas County Juvenile Court on the 2nd Floor of the new Justice Building.
All donated toys/items will be delivered to CASA for Douglas County, and distributed to some of the 300+ foster children that are currently being helped through their service. TAX DEDUCTION INFO FOR DONATIONS: CASA for Douglas County is a 501(C)3 non-profit organization. All gifts are tax deductible. CASA for Douglas County's Tax ID Number is 35-2171298.
